Fine and cool. Spent all day in the Library. Edwards in for an hour this afternoon. At 5, saw four undertaker’s men taking a
coffin into the church through the West door.
In the town today saw Mrs Jewson
walking with her husband, now back from the German prison camp.
Churchill firmly announces the
last of the rockets. Hope he is right
for once.
Phoned to Sissons' this evening,
and arranged to go there tomorrow night.
