30th December 1944
Saturday
Very sharp frost.
Had a taxi come from Dedham this
afternoon, bringing books and papers which have been stored at Shermans for
safety. Still a lot of stuff left
there. Home for a “Saturday dinner”, the
last for God knows how long.
